another update from the folks on the road.

they're...still in illinois. at this rate, they will arrive in california sometime in 2012...assuming they don't fall a lot more behind, the plan is to stay on this train until sacramento or san francisco, then find alternate means of transportation to vancouver. since they will already have used planes, trains & automobiles to make their journey (and buses & boats are still to come), i was thinking maybe they'd go on horseback. or maybe bicycle. or covered wagon. or perhaps house-balloon, like in Up...(yes, i am still a disney employee at heart).
